Liz, My out-of-state family loved their Cape-inspired Christmas gifts. Thank you for getting such a large order to me so quickly. I also have been using your shampoo bar and love it!!! I don't think I'll ever go back to liquid. My hair feels so clean, I don't even need creme rinse. Looking forward to reading your new book. I'm hoping to get my chickens to start laying again. They are too young to retire. :)

Love your site. I have a question regarding the lip balm recipe. If I don't use Mango butter can I just double the amount of shea butter?

Yes you can just swap out the mango for more Shea. I would add some more time for the mixture to stay hot and liquid, the more Shea you have the better chance you will end up with gritty lip balm if you don’t temper it long enough
